Support Groups A Women's Support Group is held Mondays at 6:30pm - 8pm. A children's "Hands are Not for Hitting" group is held concurrently. This group is for children ages 6-12. Child care is provided for children too young to attend group. Call 224-0256 if you would like to join the group. Newcomers welcome!
The focus of the children’s group is to help child victims of violence solve problems nonviolently and learn to identify and express their feelings in a healthy way. Children learn that the abuse is not their fault and have their feelings validated through our work with them.
