This group is for children ages 6-12. The focus of the children’s group is to help child victims of violence solve problems nonviolently and learn to identify and express their feelings in a healthy way. Children learn that the abuse is not their fault and have their feelings validated through our work with them. This group is also open to children in and out of the shelter.
