I have the right to:

 

·       Be treated with respect

·       My own body, thoughts, opinions, and property

·       Have my needs be as important as my partner’s

·       Not take responsibility for my partner’s behavior

·       Keep my friends and to spend time with them

·       Grow as an individual

·       Change my mind

·       Determine how much time I want to spend with my partner

·       Pay my own way

·       Assert myself

·       Not be physically, emotionally, or sexually abused

·       Refuse a date without feeling guilty

·       Ask for a date without being crushed if the answer is no

·       Say no to physical closeness

·       Say “I want to know you better before I become involved”

·       End the relationship for any reason at any time

·       A completely equal relationship

·       Change my goals whenever I want

·       Defy gender based stereotypes as to how I should act
